• Obtained his degree with honours in Public Adminstration and Social in South Devon Technical College Torquay England
- Social activities:
• Was appointed as the leader for the scouts, St. John Ambulance and Rotary Club
• 1963 – Followed the Pasok Momogun Party rally to Kota Kinabalu
• Appointed as translator for the Cobbold Commissioner due to his ability to speak in Malay, English, Kadazan and Murut
- Government service:
• 1963 – Assistant District Officer in Kunak
• 1966 – Promoted to District Officer
• 1971 – Retired and started his own business
